Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort - Hotel Review

This is my short holiday stay at Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort. This hotel is formerly known as Paradise Sandy Beach Resort. We chose to stay in this hotel because of the natural beauty this hotel has to offer and its deluxe surroundings. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it as the hotel's offer is terrific value for the money. I'm so excited about it and I hope you enjoy my pictures :) Location wise it is perfect as the hotel is located at Tanjung Bungah and ideally situated between Georgetown and Batu Ferringhi. The hotel is easily recognized with it's hotel entrance at the main road at Jalan Tanjung Bungah.

This is the view of the 25-storey tall building of the hotel. The hotel is within the vicinity of other beach hotel such as Flamingo by the Beach Hotel and Copthorne Orchid Hotel. Once you have reached the entrance of the hotel, you can see the hotel building and walk all the way uphill to the hotel lobby. In front of the hotel lobby is a tour and taxi counter. The hotel provides 3x daily free shuttle bus to Georgetown area which is quite handy.

The hotel provides ample of parking space for hotel guests, one can park at the basement car parks and the car parks are secure with security surveillance. However the parking space can be limited during peak seasons or school holidays.

As we entered the hotel lobby, I was greeted with hotel staff with polite "bows" as we walk along. Having congenial staff in a hotel resort is essential for the management wanting to present a memorable and favorable image to guests. All staffs are friendly and greeted us with smiles.

Located at the lobby is the elevator available for the hotel guests. This hotel is considered a perfect accommodation for couples, families or honeymooners as they provide full range of facilities such as Samporna Spa, tennis court, gym, Plante's lounge, paradise club, Breeze Cafe, Gaya's Beach Side Bar & Restaurant, kids and adult swimming pool. We can easily navigate the hotel using the level floor plans at the side of the elevator.

Along the lobby is a long wide hallway which leads us towards the lower level where the main leisure activities are take place. There are the lovely kids and adult swimming pool, Breeze Cafe and access to the beachfront. We can see kids running towards the lower level heading to the outstanding seaviews.

One of the attractions of Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort is the swimming pool which is surrounded by beautiful landscapes. The hotel has two swimming pools mainly the children's pool and the adult's swimming pool. Both are filled with tropical landscapes of fresh flowers, palm trees and coconut trees to resemble lush greenery. We truly enjoy the outdoor swimming pool which offers an oasis of serenity and relaxation.

Like many upscale hotels, the swimming pool offers tower service to the hotel guests. One can also get a chance to enjoy the sunbathing chairs at the swimming pool deck space. There are ample of seatings around the swimming pool and wingback chairs for us to fall asleep on.

We also discovered another bonus of the hotel...The "Gaya Beach Side Bar and Restaurant" which is a pool side service offering delightful drinks and snacks.

Apart from Samporna SPA, the hotel also provides traditional Malay massage by the beach 

One of the reason we chose this hotel is because of its fabulous beach side location and the beach activities provided. Just walk across the pathway beside the swimming pool to go down to the beach. The beach activities provided are at reasonable rate such as parasailing, banana boat ride, canoeing, jet-ski ride or nature-based activities e.g. volleyball or fishing at the breathtaking seaside. I personally feel that visiting the Pearl of Orient one should engage in watersports leisure activities at the long stretch sandy beach.

I personally recommend Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort. Way to go Rainbow Paradise! Overall I felt the hotel is well kept and the price is definitely worth the bucks. The hotel's offers 315 rooms and has a good view of combinations on mountain and sea as this hotel is attached directly to the beach. Do consider Rainbow Paradise Beach Resort when you are looking for a beachfront hotel in Penang.
